After a dominant August, Dearica Hamby has been named the Sparks’ Performer of the Month.

In August, the three-time All-Star averaged 19.0 points and 7.8 rebounds, shooting 58.7% from the field. In seven of her 12 games, she posted 20+ point performances.

Hamby ranked fourth in the league in field goals made per game (7.6) and eighth in points per game during the month. Among the 45 WNBA players with at least 9.0 field-goal attempts per game in August, the star forward ranked second in field-goal percentage.

In her 11th season, Hamby ranks in the Top 10 in FG% (second), PPG, RPG and SPG, the only WNBA player in this exclusive group aside from MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier.
