Kelsey Plum and Dearica Hamby have been named the Sparks Co-Performers of the Week for the period ending Aug. 17.

On Tuesday against the Liberty, Plum posted 26 points  (8-for-13 FG, 2-for-5 3PT, 8-for-8 FT), also tallying five assists and five rebounds. In the game, Hamby moved to 10th on the Sparks’ all-time scoring list, recording 21 points, eight rebounds, four steals and one block. The 11th-year forward also climbed to 26th on the league’s all-time rebounds list, passing Diana Taurasi.

In a road victory Friday over the Wings, Hamby surpassed Napheesa Collier and Crystal Langhorne for sole possession of 28th on the all-time double-doubles list with her 52nd. She finished with 20 points (7-for-13 FG, 1-for-1 3PT, 5-for-6 FT), a game-high 10 rebounds and team-high +13 rating. With her fourth rebound of the game in the third quarter, Hamby took sole possession of 25th all-time in REB as well. Plum scored a game-high 28 (9-for-17 FG, 3-for-5 3PT, 7-for-10 FT) Friday, eclipsing the 4,000-point mark in the game, also recording five assists and two steals.

The Sparks veterans ended the three-game week on the road against the Mystics, where Plum poured in 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting (2-for-5 3PTM), adding six assists and three steals. It was her 12th multi-steal performance of the season and fifth game of the campaign with at least three steals. Hamby scored 26 points (12-for-17 FG, 1-for-1 3PT), also recording seven assists and four rebounds. The Wake Forest alumna also claimed sole possession of 10th on the franchise steals list, surpassing Brittney SykesIn that game, the Hamby-Plum duo became the first teammates in WNBA history to each record at least 25 points, six assists and 60.0 FG% in the same game.

This season, Hamby is averaging 18.0 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 3.4 APG, 1.5 AP and 1.5 SPG while shooting 57.3% from the floor, which ranks second in the W this year. Aside from the Lynx’s Collier, Hamby is the only player this season to rank in the top ten in PPG, RPG, SPG and FG%.

Meanwhile, Plum is averaging 20.1 PPG, 6.1 APG, and 1.3 SPG, shooting 43.2% from the field and 37.2% from beyond the arc. Earning a WNBA All-Star nod this season for the fourth time in her career, the lefty ranks in the top three in PPG, APG and 3PM per game. She also stands seventh in FT%.
