Forward Nneka Ogwumike continued her ascent through the record books, surpassing Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings for fifth on the WNBA's all-time scoring list with 7,403 career points. Ogwumike also surpassed Lisa Leslie to become the Sparks' all-time leader in field goals made, recording her 2,339th career field goal with the franchise.

Week Two’s WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week Kelsey Plum is averaging a career-high 26.8 points per game through six games, shooting 58.9% from the field (56-for-95) and 48.8% from three-point territory (20-for-41). Her percentage from deep ranks ninth in the league, and her 6.3 assists per game also represent a career high (sixth in the W).

Veteran guard Erica Wheeler ranks 11th in assists per game this season, averaging 5.4. Wheeler also had the ninth-highest scoring game of her career this season with 21 points on 50.0% shooting from the field (8-for-16) Friday against the Mystics. The performance marked her 20th career 20-point game.

Dearica Hamby became the seventh player in Sparks history to reach 1,000 rebounds with the franchise, accomplishing the feat in just 130 games. Only Candace Parker and Lisa Leslie reached 1,000 rebounds as a Spark quicker, and Hamby reached the milestone even faster than Sparks legend and current teammate Ogwumike (134 games). The forward ranks 24th on the WNBA's all-time rebounding list.

Ariel Atkins became the sixth player in Sparks history to record at least four steals and three blocks in a game, joining Lisa Leslie, Candace Parker, DeLisha Milton-Jones, Tamecka Dixon and Azurá Stevens. The five-time WNBA All-Defensive selection was also the fourth player this season to record at least 10 points, two steals, and two blocks in a half, accomplishing the feat Saturday against the Sun.

Cameron Brink is averaging 1.5 blocks per game this season, ranking sixth in the WNBA. The Stanford alumna is also posting career highs with 9.3 points per game and a 59.1% field goal percentage that ranks 10th in the league.
