The LA Sparks are holding auditions for an In-Arena Host for the 2026 WNBA Season on Monday, April 20th. This role serves as a key in-arena personality for all home games, helping drive energy, fan engagement, and overall game presentation. The In-Arena Host is responsible for pregame, in-game, and post-game entertainment elements, engaging with fans, executing sponsored activations, and supporting live game action. This role requires a dynamic presence and the ability to create an electrifying atmosphere inside Crypto.com Arena.

The In-Arena Host plays a huge role in helping us deliver one of the best in-game experiences across the WNBA and Los Angeles. The successful candidate will serve as the in-arena host during regular season and playoff home games, as well as any requested community, fan, or sponsor events. We are looking for someone who goes beyond surface-level engagement—someone who is intentional about building authentic relationships with our fans, creates memorable moments, and understands the responsibility of representing the Sparks brand across all facets of the game presentation.

While television and social media reporters are appreciated, our preferred candidate will be able to command a strong presence in large crowds and leverage their energy, enthusiasm, on-camera presence, and voice to build energy and excitement with our fans.

IN-GAME HOST QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal communication and public speaking skills required.
  • Able to work all 22 Sparks home games in the 2026 WNBA Season
  • Able to attend game day meetings and on-court rehearsals held prior to all home games.
  • Must have at least 2 years of in-arena sports hosting experience within a large in-arena or in-stadium crowd.
  • Knowledge and passion for Sparks basketball, as well as familiarity with the Los Angeles market.
  • Must have an understanding of the game of basketball.
  • Able to enunciate clearly, accurately, and project to a large crowd.
  • Strong, distinct voice and on-camera presence required.
  • Quick on your feet with the ability to ad-lib.
  • Ability to work with cue cards, memorizing and delivering lines accurately and clearly.
  • Comfortable engaging with fans, sponsors, and live entertainment elements.
