Sparks Waive Crystal Bradford and Reshanda Gray

LOS ANGELES (May 13, 2022) – The Los Angeles Sparks announced today that Crystal Bradford and Reshanda Gray have been waived.

Bradford’s most recent WNBA season was in 2021 with the Atlanta Dream, where she started in seven of 22 games played. In 18.3 minutes per game, she averaged 8.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game.

Gray has played in 141 career games in six WNBA seasons with Minnesota, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and Phoenix. She holds career averages of 3.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 0.3 steals. During the 2022 WNBA season, she played in 11 games for Seattle, averaging 2.5 points and 2.2 rebounds, and 16 games for Phoenix, averaging 2.0 points and 1.8 rebounds.

The LA Sparks defeated the Phoenix Mercury 90-71 in their preseason opener on May 12 and scrimmage the Seattle Storm at Loyola Marymount University on May 14 at 6 p.m. PT.

The Sparks open the regular season on Friday, May 19 at Crypto.com Arena against Brittney Griner and the Phoenix Mercury at 8 p.m. PT on ESPN.
