The Los Angeles Sparks had the opportunity to work with another famous women’s basketball league, the Women’s Drew League. Before the league’s championship game, an All-Star game was held for Jr. Sparks participants. After, Sparks’ Senior VP, Natalie White, and Inside Sales Manager and Sparks Youth Basketball Director, Kristen Welch, served as guest coaches in the Women’s Drew All-Star game, leading their team to victory. The day culminated in the Women’s Drew League championship game, where Sparks’ players Essence Carson and Odyssey Sims and their squad took on none other than their Sparks’ teammate, Chelsea Gray. Gray brought her A-game, dropping 39 points and grabbing 8 rebounds, as well as the MVP Award for the championship game.
