LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Sparks have claimed guard Cierra Dillard off waivers. Dillard was drafted 20th overall by the Minnesota Lynx in the 2019 WNBA Draft.
Dillard attended the University at Buffalo where she averaged 23.5 points, 5.7 assists and 2.9 steals per game. She was named First Team All-MAC and won the MAC Tournament MVP. She led Buffalo to an NCAA Tournament first-round victory over Rutgers before the team fell in a valiant effort against UConn.
