In 2025, the Sparks won eight of their 10 games decided by four points or fewer. Five of those eight wins came against playoff teams —the Valkyries, the Fever, Liberty and Storm.

Los Angeles finished with a 15-9 record (.625 winning percentage) since July 13. Nine of their ten-highest point totals and field goal percentages this season, as well as all ten of their highest number of field goals made, came after July 13.

With 21 wins this year, the Sparks won 13 more games than their eight victories from 2024. This progress marked the second-highest jump from last season, just behind the Dream’s +15-win leap. The last time Los Angeles finished with 20 or more wins had been 2019.

In 2025, the Sparks defeated six of the eight playoff teams on the road, including dispatching the Fever and Storm twice apiece away from Los Angeles. Overall, the Sparks went 12-10 on the road, tied for the fourth-best away record in the league.

Los Angeles placed second in points per game (85.7) and field-goal percentage (45.7). In each category, the team trailed just the Lynx, who hold the top seed in the upcoming playoffs, in each category.

The Sparks finished first in paint points per game (41.5), the fifth-most ever by a WNBA team, as well as PACE. The team posted its highest Offensive Rating ever in a season and became the first team in W history to score 100 or more in five of six contests.
