Natalie White named Los Angeles Sparks Senior VP

LOS ANGELES, CA – Jan. 8, 2018 – Christine Simmons, Los Angeles Sparks’ President and Chief Operating Officer, today announced the hiring of former Atlanta Dream Vice President of Basketball Operations, Natalie White, to Senior Vice President for the LA Sparks.

“We are excited to add Natalie to the LA Sparks team,” said Christine Simmons, LA Sparks President & Chief Operating Officer. “Her extensive background in and around the WNBA and in the community will be an amazing asset to our team. She’s a true leader who drives results through inspiring and empowering others inside the organization and in the community.”

Natalie will be responsible for managing and executing all of ticket sales including inside and group sales, member relations and ticket operations. Her role also oversees marketing and creative services including social and paid media.  Finally she will lead the strategy for the Sparks thriving community relations department and assist with professional development and training.

Previously with Atlanta Dream, Natalie began as the Senior Director of Ticket Sales and moved to the Vice President of Basketball Operations. Natalie is also the founder and executive director of Natalie White Basketball, LLC, an organization centered on youth academics and basketball fundamentals. She’s a highly decorated baller from Florida A&M University and worked for 10 years at Nike before starting with the Atlanta Dream.

Founded in 1996, the Los Angeles Sparks of the Western Conference of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA)have won three WNBA Championships (2001, 2002, 2016). The Sparks remain one of two active teams in the league to have won back-to-back titles, and have qualified for the playoffs in 17 of their 21 seasons. Led by an ownership group directed by 5-time NBA Champion Magic Johnson and Mark Walter, the Sparks are dedicated to ensuring that each home game at Staples Center encapsulates a championship entertainment experience, while also showcasing the best global female athletes on the court.
