LOS ANGELES (June 6, 2023) – The Los Angeles Sparks announced today the re-signing of Karlie Samuelson to a rest of season contract.
Samuelson has appeared in five games (one start) this season with the Sparks, where she’s averaged 9.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 23 minutes per game. She’s shooting 58.8% from behind the arc, good for 2nd in the WNBA, and 56.0% from the field.
Samuelson had a standout performance against the Las Vegas Aces on May 27, where she scored 13 points to go along with seven rebounds and three assists. Through her first five games, she has a true-shooting percentage of 80.9%, leading all WNBA players.
