LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Sparks today announced a partnership with EquiTrust Life Insurance Company as the marquee sponsor for the 2015 season.

Under the agreement, the EquiTrust logo will appear on all Sparks home and road jerseys, throughout STAPLES Center on Sparks home game days, on the step and repeat backdrop, across all social and digital platforms and as the driving force behind the new charitable leadership youth program, Driven2Hoop.

The Los Angeles Sparks “Driven2Hoop” program, presented by EquiTrust, provides underprivileged youth an opportunity to develop core social and leadership skills through a speaker series and mentor program. The Driven2Hoop program will allow a total of 600 youth in the Greater Los Angeles area to enjoy a Sparks game and learn from the organizations’ business and basketball leaders at select games during the 2015 season. The Driven2Hoop program includes: a Sparks game ticket, bus transportation to and from STAPLES Center, food vouchers for use during the game and a Driven2Hoop t-shirt.

With today’s announcement, the Sparks are now the eighth team in the WNBA to have a marquee partnership.
