Los Angeles, CA (Nov. 19, 2018) – The Los Angeles Sparks front office, including President &
COO Christine Simmons, will be visiting Fire Station 106 on Tuesday, November 20th to thank
first responders and firefighters for their work in helping to contain the wildfires that devastated
Southern California the past week.
“We are so grateful for the courage, selflessness and care of our first responders,” Sparks
President & COO Christine Simmons said. “Often putting the safety and homes of others in front
of their own, this is the least we can do to show them how much we appreciate them.”
Several members from the Sparks front office will be joined by Sparks mascot Sparky to visit
with firefighters and provide them with Thanksgiving desserts and beverages, sponsored by
Southern Girl Desserts.
Media Availability (1:30-3:30 p.m.): President & COO Christine Simmons will be available for
interviews and media is welcome for the entirety of the event.
