Sparks Clinch Sixth Seed in 2018 WNBA Playoffs

The Los Angeles Sparks will be the sixth overall seed in the 2018 WNBA Playoffs. The Sparks will be facing a familiar foe, the Minnesota Lynx, in a winner-take-all, single-game elimination playoff.

The Sparks faced the Lynx four times during the regular season winning three of the matchups. In their first matchup, without Candace Parker, the Sparks snuck away with a win when guard Chelsea Gray hit a layup with seconds, making yet another big shot against the Lynx on the road. The second time the teams faced off the Sparks took care of business at home beating the Lynx, 77-69.

Minnesota took the third matchup but Los Angeles wouldn’t let them even up the series, dominating Minnesota in their fourth and final matchup, 77-59.

Chelsea Gray and Nneka Ogwumike have scored in double digits in every win against the Lynx and Parker has come close to a triple-double several times this year so expect to see another epic match with the Minnesota Lynx. Don’t miss this must-see game and reserve your seats now!
