Los Angeles Sparks Sign Aundrea Gamble to Training Camp Contract

LOS ANGELES, CA – April 11, 2017 – Penny Toler, Los Angeles Sparks’ Executive Vice President and General Manager, today announced the signing of Aundrea Gamble to a training camp contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We are excited to have Aundrea as part of our training camp. She is a former Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year,” said Brian Agler, LA Sparks Head Coach. “Aundrea has great basketball instincts and can play the point guard spot or wing. She has a great combination of skill and athleticism. She has the ability to fight for a spot on our roster.”

A 5-foot-9 guard, Gamble played for the Arkansas State Red Wolves and ranked fourth on the all-time Arkansas State scoring list with 1,932 points, while also dishing 492 assists which tied the record for second most in school history. She was a three-time Sun Belt Conference Student-Athlete of the Year, the only player in Sun Belt history to win three consecutive years in a row, and a two time All-America Athlete, making her the second player in Arkansas State women’s basketball history to achieve All-American status.
