2018 Sparks’ Theme Nights

The Los Angeles Sparks have an action-packed 2018 home schedule filled with theme nights, unique fan experiences, and musical and dance performances. Kicking off the home schedule is a rematch of the 2017 playoff matchup against the always tough, Phoenix Mercury, Sunday, May 27 with a 2:00 PST Tip-Off. Next Sunday on June 3, the Minnesota Lynx come to town for a 2017 WNBA Finals rematch and their second matchup of the season with the Sparks, tip-off 2:00 PST. Both teams are set to face each other four times throughout the 2018 season.

The Seattle Storm will be visiting June 7, 7:00 PST, for a nationally televised game on ESPN but most importantly, it will be PRIDE night at Staples Center. Come out and show your pride and support for the LGBTQ community and the Los Angeles Sparks.

Later in the month on June 24, the New York Liberty visit for a 2:00 PST matchup on Service Night, an event dedicated to those who live to serve others. Join the Sparks as they honor members of the military and municipal services.

Kicking off July activities, the Sparks host the Dallas Wings on Camp Day at 12:30 PST. Camp Day is a midweek, day game for summer camps and day care programs but open to all fans. Bring your family and friends for this unique event.

Closing out the month on July 20 is Faith & Family night, a night dedicated to unite churches all over southern California. The day consists of networking events, a basketball tournament, corporate prayer time, and a Sparks’ matchup with the Indiana Fever at 7:30 PST that night.

The Minnesota Lynx visit for their fourth and final matchup of the regular season, August 2, on Throwback Thursday for a 7:00 PST tip-off. Watch an always-thrilling matchup of the top teams in the WNBA featuring throwback music and dance performances of your favorite classics!

The premiere theme night of the Los Angeles Sparks, the #WeAreWomen game takes place August 5 against the Phoenix Mercury at 4:00 PST. The 2018 theme is All4Her, a call to the community to help break down barriers women face professionally and personally. The day consists of various events for women and youth, and culminates in a sellout game made possible by WeAreWomen ambassadors.

The final home game of the regular season takes place August 14, 7:30 PST, against the New York Liberty on Fan Appreciation Day. Don’t miss this opportunity to catch the final game before the playoffs and be part of exclusive events just for our fans!
