How Our Community Can Unite

Sparks Fans!
The Los Angeles Sparks have partnered with the Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs and the Department of Mental Health to organize a year-long mental health and well-being public engagement campaign, Spark the True You, to cast a GREATER SPOTLIGHT on women in active military duty, women veterans and their families.
Military women of all ages are having trouble meeting their physical, spiritual, emotional and mental health needs. In order to boost their healing through education, assistance and the activation of a growing support network across Southern California, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
STEP UP with us!  And, be a part of this transformative change.

Step 1a:

Let us know more about your military journey. All information will be confidential and encourage you to share what you are comfortable sharing. The Los Angeles Sparks would like to know more about the members of the Spark the True You community as it relates to family military history.

If you or a family member have ever served in any of the five military branches (Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard) LET US KNOW by filling out this short military service questionnaire.

Step 1b:

If you don’t have a family history in the military but instead have a general interest in supporting the cause and attending educational events, please send an introductory email to communityrelations@la-sparks.com and include your full name, contact information, zip code, and a brief bio on why this campaign resonates with you.  We look forward to connecting with you!

Step 2:

Stay tuned for your Spark the True You event invitations and updated campaign information. We look forward to you joining the conversation!
