Los Angeles, CA – On Friday July 27, the Los Angeles Sparks, in partnership with the Salvation Army, will reveal the final product of their redecoration project for 16 previously homeless foster youth at the Oxford Apartments in Koreatown. With help from Erin Kane Interior Design, Abode Well, Inhance Interior, N Menashe and Kristen Montero Design, Sparks players Alana Beard and Sydney Wiese spent the week of July 23rd redesigning the apartments as part of the Sparks #WEAreWomen campaign.
“The entire Sparks family is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Salvation Army and contribute to the important work of combatting homelessness and displacement,” Sparks President and COO Christine Simmons said. “We are proud we could play a small part in helping these young men and women feel more at home as they embark on life-changing journeys in the work force and in the classroom.”
The July 27th reveal will take place from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. PT at the Oxford Apartments and is open to season ticket holders who donated, the design team as well as the media.
