Los Angeles – The Los Angeles Sparks today announced its 2015 WNBA roster. The Sparks will tip-off its 19th WNBA season on the road at Seattle on Saturday, June 6 before returning to Los Angeles to open the home season vs. Seattle on Sunday, June 14.
Returning veterans Nneka Ogwumike, Jantel Lavender and Alana Beard lead a talented lineup of newcomers including WNBA Champions Erin Phillips, Temeka Johnson and Jennifer Lacy. Rookies Marianna Tolo, Jennifer Hamson and 2015 WNBA Draft Pick Andrea Hoover join the Sparks to make their WNBA debut on a team led by the winningest coach in professional women’s basketball, Sparks head coach Brian Agler.
